JOURNEY TO THE VAISHNODEVI TEMPLE

Its awsome beauty, The Vaishnodevi cave in Jammu is a natural attraction for the tourists as well as the devotees.Last 29th of March we began our journey.Actually we dont know till the 11th hour where to go.When we were at the bus stand then we decided to go to vaishnodevi. We sat on the bus at 6pm and reached there at about 3 am.On the way we met a punjabi guy,A great minded guy. He oftenly goes there atleast once in a month,So we got a guide also.Then we got the same hotel room and started the journey at about 6 in the morning.Its necessary to take a yatra slip from the counter there,free of cost.Then we took a stick for support and had the breakfast also.We met an another guy also.We four completed the journey of about 12 km and 5200 ft high.Everybody's condition was so bad,but surprisingly I was fully fit after the 24 km journey.The view from the place was just awesome.

The Holy Cave of the Mother is situated at an altitude of 5200 ft. The Yatris have to undertake a trek of nearly 12 km from the base camp at Katra. At the culmination of their pilgrimage, the yatries are blessed with the Darshans of the Mother Goddess inside the Sanctum Sanctorum- the Holy Cave. These Darshans are in the shape of three natural rock formations called the Pindies. There are no statues or idols inside the Cave.
The first mention of the Mother Goddess is in the epic Mahabharat. When the armies of Pandavs and Kaurvas were arrayed in the battlefield of Kurukshetra, Arjun, the chief warrior of Pandavs upon advice of Sri Krishna; meditated upon the Mother Goddess and sought Her blessings for victory. This is when Arjun addresses the Mother Goddess as ‘Jambookatak Chityaishu Nityam Sannihitalaye’, which means ‘you who always dwell in the temple on the slope of the mountain in Jamboo’ (probably referring to the present day Jammu).

It is also generally believed that the Pandavs were the first to build the temples at Kol Kandoli and Bhawan in reverence and gratitude for the Mother Goddess. On a mountain, just adjacent to the Trikuta Mountain and overlooking the Holy Cave are five stone structures, which are believed to be the rock symbols of the five Pandavs.

Perhaps the oldest reference of the visit of a historical figure to the Holy Cave is that of Guru Gobind Singh who is said to have gone there via Purmandal. The old foot track to the Holy Cave passed through this well-known pilgrimage centre.

Some traditions believe this Shrine to be the holiest of all Shaktipeeths (a place where the Mother Goddess, the Eternal Energy has Her abode) since the skull of Mata Sati fell here. Others believe that her right arm had fallen here. But some scriptures do not agree with it. They do agree that at a place called Gandarbal in Kashmir, the right arm of Sati had fallen. Nevertheless, in the Holy Cave of Shri Mata Vaishno Deviji, one does find stone remains of a human hand, popularly known as Varad Hast (the hand that grants boons and blessings).

We came back at 5pm and came back to hostel at 5 next morning.Although the journey was a fantastic experience for us.

CULTURAL FEST IN LOVELY PROF. UNIVERSITY

17th March,It was 1st time for me in LPU campus having such enjoyment,It was cultural fest 'UNITY IN DIVERSITY' program in the University.More then 10 states represented there.I have also perticipated in this fest to represent my state TRIPURA,

Worked 3 days with various types of people from different branches different state and different culture,by the way we also living with such guys all the day,but there the feeling was extra,there we all together was making a project.We provided with a stall and for this program,We putted various charts,Photos,paintings,traditional dresses,traditional foods there,and we also made a tribal hut in the stall by bamboo and straw,The main attraction was the Bihu Dance performed by the Assaamee girls Priyanka,Monalisa,Anurima and Diksha,The Oddessy dance also attracted many people which was very professionaly done by Trina from West Bengal,Very gorgeous Poonam mam instructed those dance,She was also coordinator of our stall.The 4 states Assam,Tripura,Arunachal Pradesh and Orissa was club together in our stall,Me and Joysankar represented Tripura infront of our Executive Dean mam,My one wish also fulfilled-to meet our Executive Dean mam personally.

Dean Mam surprised when I show her S.D BURMAN,R.D BURMAN, SOMDEV DEBBURMAN,SOURABHEE DEBBARMA all are from Tripura.She appreciated us,It was feeling very nice.We enjoyed very much that day.We all dance together Bihu,I get some female friends also Priyanka,Trina and Monalisa.

Really the cultural fest gives a new begining to this boaring life.........

Now in the 2nd phase other rest states will be perticipate,The cultural department already choose our team for the next phase.

'FRIENDSHIP' IS IT LIFE TIME?

At first What is a friend ? as everybody knows a friend is who ,who cares for you,who loves you,who stands with you in difficulties bla bla bla.................
There are thousands of definition about friend, but to define a friend there no need any definition, it is such a thing without which life is nothing but a dustbin.
I am very friendly I know, So, I made many friends till now,and still making.....
I know many kinds of friend.
Some friends are good and some friends are not bad, means good in friendship but not quality person. So,whatever, we accept them as our  friend because they remain with us all the time,they help us,they play with us,they share with us,they enjoy with us,they smoke with us,they drink with us and also many things....
but he /she is also our friend who can't give company all the time now but thinking and caring about us from somewhere else,
One of my very good friend send me an sms that 'friend does not mean that hang over with you all time,it means to sharing the honest part to you.'
Its really a great thought, A friend can slap you when you are on wrong direction, But always we mistake considering him/her as a friend who gives us company in the bad works means what is bad for us and also knowing the bad part of it.
When we became the common friend of two good friends but opposite in character,this is the true difficulty to keep them both,but often we take the side of the negative friend,Which is not a good idea.
Sometimes a friend make us to frustrate stopping us doing bad works and sometimes we leave that friend.But later we come to know, that was our true friend,sometimes we cant realize it  for a long time.
We  cant say that a true friend is who, who remain with us forever,sometimes we force him/her to leave our friendship.
So friendship is very sensitive thing ,We wouldnot be able to understand when it broke

Holi in a colourful way in hostel

HOLI, The clolourful festival in India, Everyyear I celebrate this festival with lots of colours. This year I am in Lovely professional university and living in hostel, I thought this yaer I would not be able to celebrate holi, but this was not true I enjoyed the holi much here with my new and very good friends in this university. We enjoyed this colourful day with lots of colour and eggs also.

It was nice to play holi in hostel. In hostel this is not allowed,but we played outside the hostel campus but in the university campus.

Friends tored my t-shirt infront of the girl's hostel and a lots of girl saw that nuiscencity, I was embarresed, But it doesn't matter, We enjoyed a lot. It was my first holi in hostel and I enjoyed it much. I hope we will again enjoy this holi next year adding more fun and with my very good friends.

Domain Name System (DNS) is a database system that translates a computer’s fully qualified domain name into an IP address. For example, when you type hackspc.com in web browser then DNS translate hackspc.com to computer readable number known as IP address and when computer knows about the IP location of web domain name it simply opens website in the browser.



Our ISP (Internet Service Provider) provide their DNS which are located at router. Sometimes DNS server of ISP is very slow then it takes so much time to find out the web address and open the website. To solve this problem you can replace your ISP’s DNS service with Google Public DNS by changing the settings of the network connection.

1) Go to Start -> Control Panel


2) Click on Network Connections in Control Panel


3) Right click on Local Area Connection and then click on Properties


4) Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then click on properties


5) Select Use the following DNS server addresses in filed Preferred DNS server type 8.8.8.8 and in Alternate DNS server type 8.8.4.4

WHAT IS LOVE

 know 90 percent of lovers searching for the answer for there whole life,they defined love as what they know in their own mind,but what is love,
I am also among those 90 percent,not any love experts,but I am different from them,because I am sharing with u about my view.
So,friends,U might be love somebody or loved by somebody.
Actually the classification of love is very necessary.
When I said about love.U all think that I am saying about love of a lover.
but the list of lovers in our single life is very long,
It may be Mother,Father,Sister,brother,children,Friend,Girlfriend,Boyfriend,Teacher bla....bla...bla... or I dont know how long the list goes.
Every type of love is necessary in our life,because love can only make our life beautiful.
In our juvenile or youth life the love of friend or girlfriend or boyfriend is become more necessary then others,This is the character of this age only.
I am also a teenager I know how much friends and my girlfriend is important for me,
We cant see how much our family love us.
So,what is love?
A strong positive emotion of regard and affection.
but everybody has its different answers.
In a fresher's paty in LPU this question was asked to many.
but many of them remain finding the answer from air.
One truth about love.
who never fell in love in teenage with an opposite or same sex they can never define love.
This is a very necessary integredent in our youth life.
So,keep some emotions and keep some respect for others,u will easily fall in love.
